The Coldest Girl in Coldtown Review
By: NGM
This is not an average book with average characters or an average plot. First some background info: Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave. One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. Along with some new and old friends, she escapes and is thrust into a whole new adventure. Throughout the book, Tana is faced with various challenges, but overcomes them. And yet, every time she does, it is unexpected. She is not the stereotypical girl that you hear about when vampires are part of the company they share. She completely understands the danger and is not afraid to defend herself. This book constantly keeps me on the edge of my seat. From the way, the character’s backgrounds are slowly weaved in to the unpredictable twists and turns the plot takes you through. Overall, this books is not what you would expect and unpredictable.
