Now that it’s back to school time and the leaves are turning orange and yellow, I have been looking for interesting new books to read now that I’ll be indoors more…look no further!  Here’s a list of Highly Anticipated YA Books September 2016 from Epic Reads.

Popular series and authors:

–Empire of Storms, the fifth book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

–Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo, the sequel to the bestselling Six of Crows, which in turn takes place in the world of the bestselling Grisha Trilogy.  (I personally loved the trilogy and can’t wait to see more from this author!)

–The Fever Code by James Dashner, a prequel to The Maze Runner series.  Never read that series myself, but if this article is correct, dramatic secrets will be revealed! (And who doesn’t like a good plot twist?)

–Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake, author of Anna Dressed in Blood.

–Bright Smoke, Cold Fire by Rosamund Hodge, author of Cruel Beauty and Crimson Bound.  It’s a fairy tale retelling, this time of Romeo and Juliet.  (I believe her others were of Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood.)
